Eligibility Criteria for Pilot Training (DGCA Courses)
The student must have passed 12th standard with Physics, Mathematics, and English.
The minimum age requirement is 16 years.
What if the student has Commerce or Arts in 12th?
Yes, students from Commerce or Arts backgrounds are eligible to join DGCA Ground Classes.
However, before starting the course, they must clear Physics and Mathematics as additional subjects through an open board such as NIOS (National Institute of Open Schooling).
The DGCA Ground Classes will cover all the key subjects required for pilot training. These include Navigation, Meteorology, Air Regulations, Technical General, and RTR (A). Each subject is taught in a simple and easy-to-understand way so that students can build a strong foundation for their exams and flying career.
